FUCK YOUR FLAG: The New Wave of American Political Violence - Vol. 1
FUCK YOUR FLAG: The New Wave of American Political Violence, Vol. 1 is a unique collection of post-January 6th full-color images of flags flown in the wild by people broadcasting a sympathy with—or will for—political violence against American democracy. It is a necessarily frightening book filled with ugly images of flags flown to intimidate and broadcast hate. From trailer parks, to large farms, to massive mansions, and even in front of the very offices of elected federal politicians in Washington DC, these flags are popping up everywhere.
In the aftermath of the insurrection of January, 2021, during which hordes of flag-waving white supremacists stormed the U.S. Capitol, no one flying these and similar flags can claim ignorance, heritage, or any other "Lost Cause"-styled excuse for flying such a flag. In FUCK YOUR FLAG, hundreds of unique photos are presented alongside the explanations of the flags' meanings, symbols, and origins. Readers get to study up-close and without fear of harm the flags being flown throughout post-J6 America. They can learn about the symbols, study the context in which the flags are flown, and understand why those who fly these flags intentionally refuse to denounce the domestic terror witnessed in real time on January 6.
