Brad Thor and His Fans - Imperfect Nazis?
Last night I happened to wander into a book-signing at The Poisoned Pen by Glenn Beck's favorite novelist, the racist, Muslim-hating Brad Thor.
The place was packed. I haven’t seen so many white supremacists in one place since I witnessed a Ku Klux Klan rally in Tennessee.
I thought about asking him to sign a copy of Mein Kampf, but the store didn’t have it, so I grabbed a copy of The Perfect Nazi, a biography of an S.S. member by his grandson, and then got in line.
It was a long line. As I waited, a guy standing behind me talked about how sick of Obama he felt. “I’m just niggered-out,” he said.
Another of Thor’s fans was in the final year of training as a nurse. Thor told her, “Don’t go to Uganda. Ebola has broken out there.”
When I reached Thor, he gave me a big smile, which disappeared when I handed him the book. “What’s this?” he said.
“I thought it was a biography of you,” I said. “Will you sign it for me?”
“I don’t know what your deal is, pal,” he said.
“Would you sign it, ‘To Adolf’?” I said. “No? Oh, okay. Thanks anyway.”
I left immediately after this, and later heard that Thor’s security people tried to get staff at the store to tell them my name. Commendably, they refused.
